Character Design - Sequence

We had to create a character in the style of the MMORPG Wildstar and then have a fighting sequence. I tried my hand at making a Mechari. They look so cool! However I ran out of time and I had to rush the final product, so not entirely satisfied with this one. He is supposed to be inspired by the samurai and Japanese archer style of clothing. His weapon is a Bow with blades that uses arrows made out of energy (that's why they don't appear in the sequence)

Hercules - Timeline
For a Character design project, we had to create a character in the style of Hercules and have it grow up in a Timeline. So I decided to stay with the Greek theme and create a Cupid creature. And then we had to give the character a prop and pose it. It was a lot of fun to work on this assignment. I find that I have a style that I usually stick with so having to work with a style that really pushes you like this one was a lot more challenging but also a lot of fun.

Her name is Aro Hart... I tried to make a pun :D






 

 

Life Drawing

 

 

 

So this year we had a project where we had to draw Hands and Feet. First off were the hands: so the assignment was that you had to draw 5 poses of your own hands, then in a female and male cartoon style. For the feet, it was 5 poses drawn in a realistic way and then stylized with the Tarzan Style.

 

 

 

For some reason I think I did way better with the feet, which ironically is usually the one people have a harder time with. But it's all good, just means I need to practice my hands more :)

Gravity Falls Project -
In one of my classes, we had to create a character in the style of Gravity Falls. At first I wanted to draw a sailor kid... But in the end I decided to draw some kind of buff nerd character and ended up drawing this:

 

 

Then my teacher helped me with corrections and I started making the character in harmony.

...and then I animated it and put a BG that my teacher provided with it. It's sliding a bit but I'll come back to it and fix it when I have time :)
